Has anyone had or know anyone with pancreatic cancer?

My husband died of pancreatic cancer at the age of 58. He was given a year and a half after being diagnosed with stage 3. He had radiation and chemo during that time. My husband was in pain, i could tell he was tire and getting weaker. Finally I ask the doctor when he would put my husband under hospice. The doctor agreed to hospice and my husband died two weeks later. Pancreatic cancer is a killer. Now i am involved with the American Cancer Society and PanCan, hoping that a cure will be found soon. My daughters lost their father, my grandchildren lost their grandfather.
