How could Jesus Christ be a celibate, being a Jewish?

In the times back then, jewish people were condemned to take a lifelong celibacy and it was actually a duty of a jewish father to find a bride for his son.Even without father being involved, marriage was religiously important. Jesus Christ was jewish.And considering all those recoverings of those lost gospels like Gospel of Mary, Gospel of Thomas, Gospel of Truth, Gospel of Philip, Gospel of Judas, and their content, I am forced to admit that we only know half of the truth about the true life of the saviour. It raises many questions against (apologies) "the church", about how it went to the major extents to hide the truth that Christ was married to Marry Magdalene and was a father. Please help!
