Why do Scottish people always go on about how great they are?

Have you EVER met a scottish person who hasn't said, YOUR IN SCOTLAND NOW THIS IS HOW YOU DO THINGS, BE A MAN or IM A TRUE SCOTSMAN THROUGH AND THROUGH, so what who cares, there fake patriotic speeches attack to the point of nausea, as the saying goes ---they who feel inferior, scream the loudest, Scottlands a great place, but its full of kilt wearing silly people babbling on about how great they are, WHEN there not.
