Bed bugs die in heat?

I think that I had some bedbugs in my apartment this year. I had to move in with someone for a few months so I put my belongings in a storage unit in May 2010 and plan to get it out in November 2010. Over the summer, the temp averaged to about 95-105%. I heard that bedbugs will die in extreme heat...if I had some do you think this may be the case? I have not been inside of the unit since May...so they have not fed since then.
