There won't be any more episodes of 50s lounge singing on Voyager, will there?

I was greatly disheartened by DS9 when they introduced a jazz singer hologram character as a regular out of nowhere, who was about as invited as the recurring tertiary characters on TNG. And now they have the Borg with bad long 50s hair singing dull showtunes on Voyager. They were doing so well, too! Please tell me they haven't given up on the series this early. I want to enjoy the rest of the series, but the writers just seem obsessed with uninteresting, insipid period crap from unremarkable eras. The only time I want to see the Rat Pack on Star Trek is if they're blasting the hell out of them with a photon torpedo.
