Do I have a high maintenance baby?

put her down in her cot and let her cry til she falls asleep. go in every few minutes and hug her, but don't pick her up. then leave for a while. keep doing this til she learns, and she will, that you won't hold her all the time. it will be hard on you and her at first, but you have to be consistent so she'll stop being so demanding. start a bedtime routine. calming bath, story or 2, then a night light and bed. she needs to learn to calm herself down if she wakes up and not depend on you so much.
