My Sims 2 keeps not responding, HEEEEELP.?

Is that RAM amount correct? It's next to nothing! You need at least 4GB to run the Sims 2 or 3 smoothly. And a fast video card 512MB or more. One GB if you can. Hope this is a desktop and not a laptop. These games are HUGE and need a lot of muscle to move all that data around. Desktop is best.
